Hope everyone is getting on well with your Christmas preparations!:j:j I'm not doing too badly although as always the time from now to the big day seems to speed up so fast it's hard to keep up lol!

I've made an extra £20 so far this month on surveys:T:T and the Amazon vouchers will come in very handy indeed! I've written most of my cards - I only send about half of what I used to due to the cost of the stamps:o I think a lot of folks do the same. I love sending and receiving the cards I must say, but I think with texting fb email etc it has declined..... so I now just send to people I don't see very often.

My lovely FGN's (Fairy-God-Neighbours for anyone unfamiliar with this lol!!) put up the outside lights for me like they did last year - I actually jumped up and down I was so excited!

I do the sealed pot challenge and have managed to put a couple of £1 coins in this week - not finding it easy right now with all the inevitable extras but I'm trying to keep up with it as I lost focus last year and don't want to lose the good habit of squirrelling away.

If anyone has any hints or tips regarding pain and stiffness in knees I'd be very grateful to hear. I have an appointment with the GP on 11th Dec - I had a previous appt but it got cancelled due to the Dr leaving at short notice - he's the second one to do this, I hope it's not me LOL! I've started taking Glucosamine which my aunt takes and she says it helps. I would like to get some exercises to do but of course without advice from GP you could end up doing the wrong ones so we'll see what they say on 11th.

seems like you are doing well considering, I just need to find the right cards then I will also send, I am on a reduction now due to the cost of stamps and that people dont return the favour as I too like cards in the post....

No I think a lot of people are feeling the same about the Christmas card situ Westie....however I haven't had to buy any this year as I had lots left over from last year ( and the year before I think!) plus 2 big rolls of wrapping paper left over and lots of bows and tags.

I've also decorated the house for £0.00 as I had a few boxes of fairy lights that were unopened (as well as the ones I have on all year round anyway), my usual selection of tea-light holders are out and the TV is adorned with a hanging Santa and star. I also have my Christmas stocking up!

All this helps loads to keep the cost of the season down....:beer::beer::beer:

As for your knees. Odd as it sounds try cutting back on your sugar for a week or 2. You would be surprised.
