I've had the telephone appointment...he's ringing me for part two in 2 weeks. (Wed 17th)

Not sure how I'm feeling really - he said he thinks he'll be referring me for CBT but he'll give it some thought:o

Good news though I was successful in getting another appointment with my GP for 2 weeks time as well, (Fri 19th) which is within the timeframe he wanted me to go back - and at least I'll be able to tell him I've had the 2 telephone assessments by then. I'm very aware of how long it can take to get through the waiting list.

    I definitely feel a bit unsettled....time for a nice cup of tea:p

That's good news about the counselling hummingbird, maybe a good think it happened so quickly so that you don't have time to dwell on it and think about it (as I would!).

AND... I bought a C-word gift today... Feel like I'm in the club now :)

    Sending lots of love

You'll be fine hb, anything happening so quickly would knock most people!

Hope the next appointments are helpful.

    Thanks scuba and MeandO!!

Westie thanks for welcoming MeandO to the C word club!!!:j:j (I keep expecting Gordon Ramsey to join LOL!!)

Well today has been ultra-stressful but there's good in it.... because I slept ok again (got to bed at 11.30 for 4th night in a row, took me a long time to go to sleep but then was fine) I've been trying to get lots done and had the "brainwave" of ringing companies to switch to manual payments. This is because although Direct Debits are great when you always get paid on the same date and know more or less exactly how much it will be, they don't suit me because I get paid haphazardly regarding dates and in varying amounts, and I often seem to be getting payments reversed when they would have gone through fine the day after etc

I hadn't really allowed for how long it would take though, nearly all of them wanted a low-down on my financial situation and a lengthy process and it has taken it out of me big-time!!

I've got about half way through, but then told myself it doesn't all have to be done in one day anyway!!

The aim is to pay each one of my bills and each of my creditors manually, and where there are payment arrangements in place they have to be happy with this new arrangement.

Some can be paid on an automated telephone number, some online, and with one I'm being sent a paying-in book to take into the bank.

It's going to be more effort for me obviously to make sure I get all the payments made BUT I feel happier as I will have more control and can choose which day to pay, or if there's not enough I can choose which is the highest priority item to pay on that particular day.:money::money:

I'm going to go out for a nice walk again after tea (like I did last night) to clear my head, I need it LOL!!
