Hi I have a Premier account with Barclays, I've had this since 1998 when Barclays insisted the company directors had to switch to Barclays Premier to get a business loan to buy the company. How far back does this apply too and do Business related loans count as well?

Customers were often told they had to sign up to a packaged account to get a loan, mortgage or other product. Or that their other application would be declined if they didn't get a packaged account. This is blatant mis-selling.

In the 17 years you have had the accounts - have you used any of the benefits?
If you have not you may have a claim.0 -
Might be worth checking if you have been paying for the service or not.
The premier account isnt a packaged account, it gives you a £1k free od and few other services, but it is a free account.
Premier life on the other hand is a packaged account, but they only sold this from about 5 years ago, you being you have had the account since 1998, I doubt you have been paying for the account.0
