OP just clear one thing for us please - throw any insults at me doesn't bother me one little bit - when did mum die?
When did bank get official notification of death ie sight of the death certificate?
Did the transactions take place after this date?

If they took place before the bank had sight of the death certificate - good luck you will be throwing money at solicitors unless the police prosecute.
If they took place after the bank saw the death certificate - ie after they should have frozen the account and blocked the internet banking - carry on with your complaint.

    Jonesie,

I think the complaint is not that the Bank were negligent in letting the money go, it is that they won't now cooperate with the appointed administrator in trying to recover the stolen money.

Why would they want to get involved. OP wants bank to admit it did something wrong in order to make them pay the money back.
That is not going to happen - it is a family dispute let them sort it out.
