moving house impact on credit rating

We are in the process of moving house, mortgage has been approved just waiting for a date. After we have moved we would like to take out a 10k loan for improvements, decorating and maybe pay a small credit card off. I'm wondering how long to leave it before applying for the best chance of being approved. Obviously get names on the electoral register at the new address but once this is done should we wait 3 months or 6 months or can we apply straight away and still have the same chance of being approved? what impact does moving house and a new mortgage have on your credit rating?
