I have recieved a call from this number however it was just a call from an Asian person and as soon as i answered the call i just got a load of abuse from the start, basically telling me to eff off from the start until i put the phone down.

cant seem to locate the number online so was hoping someone may reconise the number with any info who was the caller.

Probaly originates from India and 5644 is the dial code for Bharatpur

Sounds like a student prank Indian style.

Or somebody has been given your number to someone in India from over hear to abuse a person in UK but has been given your number by mistake.

Edit :- Having read the link that Ypaymore provided, it's a scammer who has not read the book ' How to win friends and influence people':D

The 056 code is for VOIP services, so the caller could be from anywhere in the world and the service provider may not even know their real identity. The 05644 prefix hasn't been allocated to any provider yet so the number is spoofed.

Im positive to say I heard voices in the background, possibly like a call centre.

A few people have said when they got a call from this number that their number was leaked by talktalk

Have you recently been rude to someone that works in customer service or telesales? I've worked in these jobs in the past and it's not uncommon to circulate the numbers of people who are incredibly rude for very little reason.

I dont think so, of course when someone calls with a foreign accent offering solar panels, or a new engery invention at a reduced cost, or someone from Microsoft informing me I have a virus and my pc will turn is being watched by the FBI or when I get the odd call from consumer lifestlye or Marketing Europe or Bombay Internet Services i get a little annoyed when I say no no no but they keep saying yes yes yes. Just the general !!!!!. However I tend to pretend im called Flight Commander Montgommery when people with accents that I associate with the word 'SCAM' come on my phone.

So I cannot understand why someone would hurl abuse at me im a generally nice person and only use the 'f' word after 5 minutes.
