paying every month but still defaulting?

Hi,


I pay monthly amount to MKDP but they still default me every month. I called them and they said this is correct but previous debts would have the green dot every month as you were entered into a payment plan and paying. Is anyone familiar with this. I just feel that to default every month its as if Im not meeting the payment plan.

They are not new default, just status updates on the original.

Monthly status codes relate ONLY to the original agreement, not any one made informally to a debt collector after you defaulted the original one.

So a D or 8 every month until the account is settled is the correct thing I'm afraid.

It won't be seen as you defaulting on your arrangement with MKDP, as it has nothing to do with that.

Only thing that will change until the account is settled should be that they update the balance now owed to show it reducing.
