Mine or neighbours?

I have a brick shed that is one half mine one half neighbours. It sits across the 2 properties (see photos). My half is the newer looking roof at the front of the overhead photo.

As you can see form photo below my half needs a facelift.

This is inside view of my half.

Now as you can see there is pipework running along the wall. A waste pipe and an insulated copper pipe. These pipes run through to the neighbours half of the shed and have nothing to do with me. I was first thinking of knocking my half down and re-supporting the neighbours half. But is the wall with the pipes mine or theirs ? they are a concern as it means I can't build the BBQ i intend against that wall? Those pipes if they leak would cause damage to my side and items in my half of the shed. Can I do anything about them? Are they allowed to be there? Is it their side or mine?. Many thanks

Check your title plan!

As far as I can see it should not be going through your property like that. Must have been a agreement with the last owner.0

Thanks and the plan shows a red line but I think it was drawn incorrect, as they grey line shows how the boundary snakes between the 2.

Just ask your neighbor if they get abusive/sheepish you know they have pulled a fast one. That is showing boundary lines and the pipes are in your boundary. You should have another outlining who owns what wall/fence panel.0

I would say you're right! They appear to have forgotten to include your house in it.
Download a copy from the Land Registry for £3, but from interpretation it does look like you own one each and have asquiggly boundary.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

If this is the case ( an agreement with previous owner?) do I have to honour said agreement?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Could these shed have been outside toilets in days gone by.
Could the pipework (although looking modern) be a legacy to that and whatever it was once connected to has long gone?0 -
Could it be they have a washing machine in their shed??
Maybe the electric runs a different route??
Have you chatted with your neighbour?
Maybe they don't even use the water and waste pipe any more.
Obviously should you chose to knock your half of the shed down you can, and this will make that water pipe very exposed so your neighbour would need to re-route this pipework anyway.0
