Help needed to remove default(£47 overdraft fees)

Hi,
I would appreciate if someone can help me to use right letter template to remove default from my credit file.
Story:
When I checked my Noddle account, I realised that Lloyds issued default on my file in July 2012. That was an account which I was using when I was student and once I started to work, my company requested to open an account from other bank and I eventually moved everything to new account.
Noddle shows that account was Satisfied and closed for a default of £47. I didn't have overdraft facility. I called to Lloyds to clarify breakdown of these charges and they told me that it is because my mobile provider tried to charge me and since there was no enough amount bank charged me unarranged overdraft fee. Then they charged more interest I guess, it finally reached to £47 and account defaulted as "Satisfied".
I was never aware of this situation until I got my Noddle report. Bank told me that they stopped sending me letters even before default date as previous letters were returning - I forgot to update my address with banks. Therefore, Lloyds never issued a notice to me and I was never aware about default.
My fault is not updating address on time. But, what I owed was artificial charges and I was never aware of that on time.
So, I am seeking help what kind of letter I should write to bank to remove default from my credit file.
There are some strategies like, "Defaults under £500", "Sympathy Letter" or so. Not sure which one is right for me...
Please, suggest right letter(s) to send to Lloyds.
Thanks in advance.
