Painting garage side door - do I leave frame white?

Hi all, I'm going to paint the garage side door (ordinary wooden door) a light shade of olive green. I am not sure what the etiquette is with the frame - do I leave it white or paint it the olive green?
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

I'd leave it white, but you should do whatever you like.
    I don't think there's a right and wrong.

Etiquette!! What on earth are you talking about. You paint it exactly how you want it. Nothing to do with what anyone else has done or might think is "correct".
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

I agree, I should paint it how I want to but I'm trying to sell my house and I don't want it to look weird and out of place.

If you are currently trying to sell your house I'd probably advise you to just paint it white again if it needs tidying up, as a green door might be enough to put some people off regardless of whether the frame is painted.

Yes if you paiting to sell i'd go for something like a mahogony that looks natural, some people don't like colours. I don't like green ........

I was hoping that the light green would help blend the door into the green of the garden as the white is just too in your face. A lot of people on the estate (relatively new builds) have painted their garage side doors different colours. The door opens out straight into the garden, so it's not on public view, as such.

I'll post a pic once I've finished. It's not the end of the world as I can buy a tin of white and re-do it if it looks odd.
