lost my amazon prime instant video subscription

When i moved over from Lovefilm i was given amazon prime instant video as part of my subscription for 9.99 and no extra fee, it was all inclusive. I have had this for over a year.

Was offered amazon 1 day delivery month trial which i took advantage of. Went over one month but could still cancel the trial and get my 79 quid back.

Problem is, it cancelled my instant video as well! I call up and tell them the issue and there isn't anything they can do. Their resolution was to resub so they may have the option their end to give me back my instant vid but to no avail.


I didn't cancel my instant prime membership so this imo is a glitch and im being fobbed off. What can i do?

Lovefilm no longer exists. So OP was paying £9.99 a month for live film. The gets offer of £79 a year for amazon instant. Was paying £119.88 a year, moved to £79 and is now ...

You haven't lost anything. After the takeover of Lovefilm your £9.99 subscription was split between Lovefilm by post and Amazon Instant Video. I can't remember the split but it was something like £4 for one and £5.99 for the other. When you took out Amazon Prime you still pay the £4 per month for the Lovefilm by Post but your Instant Video subscription becomes part of the Prime Membership. If you were to cancel Prime (and why would you) then you'll go back to paying £5.99 per month for that portion if you still want instant video.
