Buying a gift for somebody is all well and good, but it can be difficult to find exactly what you want. In time for Mother's Day, if you're looking for the perfect gift, Find a Future, the organisation that brings you The Skills Show, has partnered with The Goldsmiths’ Centre, the leading charity for the professional training of goldsmiths, to help one reader win a unique Mother’s Day gift, a bespoke ring or a pendant.
You and your mum will be invited to central London where you will visit fashion-led jewellers EC One and be welcomed by award-winning jewellery designer Sharon Alvarez, who won a bronze medal at the WorldSkills UK Skills Competition Finals in 2014. Sharon will work with you to design a bespoke piece of jewellery in their in-house workshop, which specialises in jewellery commissions. Once you are happy with the design of the ring or pendant, Sharon will create your unique Mother’s Day gift.
You and your mum will then be whisked off to a sumptuous afternoon tea for two at The Ritz where you can relax and unwind after the day’s activities.
