Hi, guys, which is best way to apply for both bonds, phone, or online, or, mail? Has the scrum sorted itself out now, that,s why I delayed till now ? Any advice would be grateful.

The scrum must have settled down. Go any way you like. If you are already regsistered with NS&I online I would do it that way. If not you can easily fill out the form and post it.

I go mine over the phone in the first day or two but helped Mum -in-law do hers via post two or three weeks later.

If you do it online it shouldn't take more than a few minutes (assuming that the scrum HAS settled. And the transaction is complete at that time. When I did it over the phone it was about ten minutes of conversation and the deal was complete.

The bond showed up on my online information maybe the next day.
