Morrison's 'aint so cheap

Options
So I discovered at 8am this morning :eek:
I did my shop there because I wasn't going to face the bus to Lidl & Mr T at 8am with the commuters to other place enroute....

I got my receipt - you would have been 55p cheaper elsewhere - or you could have earned 550 match & more points

Talk about sly ways to earn customer loyalty!- I would email the chief exec but from emailing them in the past about other issues I know it's a waste of time and energy

Better off going to Specsavers (and yes they had something come up at the till more expensive than the labelled price. They did that to me twice last week when just popping in for hair slides and yoghurt! SCAMMERS!!!!)

I wonder how long their Match and more scheme will last, we shop at Morrisons as it is the nearest, usually only do 1 weekly shop but every time their price comparison shows it would have been cheaper elsewhere, and we have had quite a few of their £5 vouchers. I know you have to spend the voucher instore, but with the number they are giving out must make them re-think their scheme soon.

It's only 55p I imagine your bus fare to Lidl would have been more than that.

Definitely check your receipt at Morrisons.

Offers don't always work. This has happened to me twice now and thus means a trip to customer services.

Took them days to re-programme the lower price of Orange juice into the tills. Every time you scanned one at the self checkout someone had to come over and confirm the price.

I like Morrisons and have a match and more card. Some things are cheap others expensive just like any other store but I get more bargains from them than other shops. Their value range is good for disinfectant and all purpose cleaners and Morrison own brand isn't tested on animals.

Tesco, Sainsbury's and Co-Op don't test on animals either, not sure about Asda but pretty confident they don't either.

Evey shop has prices that are more than others
Every shop has prices that are less than others

Even pound shops overprice some goods, it's a case of the shopper being savvy enough to know when a bargain really is a bargain.

I shop at tesco for most, waitrose regularly and lidl/aldi occasionally.
