Can't offer any more advice than what has already been posted, but what sort of vendor keeps the keys so you can't get access?
Do they no understand the concept of buying and selling?:huh:0 -

Speak to your solicitor, not the EA.
They need to have stern words with your vendor's solicitor, who will in turn put a rocket up their client (the vendor) and point out that they must hand over the keys.
If you are now getting a locksmith in, again, tell your solicitor to tell their solicitor that the bill will be sent on to the vendor.0 -

Where has anyone suggested anything else? It's irrelevant at the moment because the OP doesn't have the right keys to get access to the property.0
