+1 for the 1Password. It is kept constantly up to date with updates that are simple to download and you can have top security with all your paswords. All you need is a single password to get in. Check it out and remember, 'you get what you pay for'

If you don't want to pay for a good software, there are plenty of cheapies or freebies about, but remember 'buy cheap - buy twice'.

    What a load of tosh!

First of all, why does 1Password need constant updating? Doesn't it work properly? Or are there big holes in the security?

And how do you know you have 'top security'. Who says so? The company selling you the software? Has anyone else analysed the source code to confirm that? Oh, of course not, it's closed code.

1Password may or may not be any good. But to claim it's good simply because you paid for it is rubbish.

I'll happily stick to my open source Keepass thanks very much :)

You know I actually started typing a similar response to seniorsam but thought Meh, why bother.

Paying for things makes some people feel better, I paid for it therefore it must be good.

I used to work for a large company providing database support to Banks, the NHS, the Government, HMRC, and those nameless people with badges and lumps under the arms of their suits who try to keep whoever is bogey man of the moment from our green and pleasant land.

The only approved password manager for our desktops, laptops and phones was Keepass. It was how I learned of its existence and why I started using it at home.
