Hi,
it seems i have two options for my extension walls - a cavity wall with both side being solid blocks, or a single solid block with insulation. my builder suggested the second option but not sure which one might be a better option ?
Thks

A choice between a single skin insulated wall or a insulated cavity wall??? not really a choice. Unless you builder is saying it wont be insulated if its cavity..?? who is signing this off?0

Hi
There will be insulation material even it is cavity wall. However, my builder believes that single skins are better for damp.0 -
What has been specified for building regs approval?0

None of them as we are still processing. I am tryimg to find out which option is the preferred one for better insulation and damp proof.0
