Hi at the moment I am in a one bed flat by the housing association orbit, this is my first place so still getting used to working the gas and electric, I have the following boiler above and as its a combi so my questions are I don't want the boiler to always heat the water only when I need it for a bath saving me some money in the process, how do I do this, and I have some tvrs on the rads get them to set to 3 but don't really understand them after lots of reading on Google lol :rotfl:what they for can they help me save gas and electric

TRV is an on/off valve, no batteries. Shut off the flow when room temperature is at the set point, e.g. "3".

I think you'll find not using the hot tap, and only use the cold tap achieves what you want.0 -
Not quite sure what your question is, but a combi heats the water on demand. It's not stored hot water, so is only heated when you turn on the bath tap.
A TRV simply enables you to control the temperature in each zone individually, rather than overall by means of a room 'stat.
It won't save you any electricity though...No free lunch, and no free laptop0
