Bathroom revamp

We will be re vamping our bathroom soon, the original plan was to take the bath out, move the toilet from one end of the wall to the other and put a walk in shower at the end where the toilet was. This would obviously involve moving the plumbing a fair bit. We would also need to replace the main window as the seals have gone and brick up the second smaller window in there.
My OH dad has suggested we leave the toilet where it is, take the bath out and put the walk in shower there. However, to do this we would need to make the main window smaller (to allow for an 800mm shower tray). This would mean the window would then be off centre and I'm not sure I like the idea of an off centre window or can get my head round it!
Any thoughts?

A picture of the current bathroom might help! Depends how much you want to spend - or are you doing the work yourself?0

Moving a toilet is going to be cheaper than moving a window!
Can you physically maintain the correct fall for the soil pipe from the toilet? Is that why dad wants to move a window?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Yes we could still get the correct fall for the toilet. Basically the toilet and bath (although it will be a walk in showere instead of a bath) would swop places, both will stay against the same wall. That was our original plan.
The new potential plan doesn't involve moving the window just making it smaller by about 20cms I think. Just means if we did that we would have 60 cm of wall to left of window and 80 to the right so it would no longer be centred properly.
My OH and his dad think that would be cheaper than moving the toilet and shower.
I will try and post a pic later if I can0 -

We will prob have someone in to do it. We know a few people who do that type of work.
I will try and post a picture later.0
