You can get any prescription drug you want OTC in India and SE Asia.
That's exactly what I was going to say, plus you may well come across alternative treatment or therapy in those countries, Ayurvedic medicine, Thai massage, etc, that could relieve or improve your condition and reduce the need for such drugs.

Thanks eDicky , this is why I was so loathed to pay such a high premium to declare the medical conditions!!

Also the place I'm going to be volunteering at offer Yoga in the morning for 70p which I hope will help with strengthening my hip and core, it should be interesting as the last time I tried anything like that I kept falling over :D!!

The only thing was when I was travelling last time I ended up seeing the doctor and A&E in australia, they have medicare but still had to pay some towards the doctor and it doesn't cover prescription like the NHS you pay all of the costs of the medication, for bursting cysts which I had never had before. I didn't want to take the risk of anything happening and then the insurance becoming invalid because I didn't declare something.
Thanks to money saving tips and debt repayments/becoming debt free I have been able to work and travel for the last 4 years visiting 12 countries and working within 3 of them. Currently living and working in Canada
