Hi

got in from work and my daughter had left the tap on for about two hour / tow and half hour (cold )on full !1 just trying to work it out would that be the cost of about the same as the water for about 10 baths or what (so if I dont take a bath for the next 10 weeks I should be able to break even ) she said that the water didnt come out as it didnt come out straight away (i think due to air ) then she went into front room and waited until i got in from work and when I opened the door again she could hear it ruinning so turned it off straight away - im at my wits end asnot sure if i will get a massive bill as it was on full

50-70 UK gallons of water x 10 = 500-700 gallons would be just short of [660 gallons] 3xm3, that's £6 + and you would pay the standing charge anyway. Give your daughter a cuddle and put you wits-end away for a real problem, six quid won't hurt as a one off mistake - the bairn will learn.

    Best of luck !

    5 Occupiers household = 155 cubic metres
    1 cubic metre = 220 gallons
    1 gallon = 8 pints = 4.5461 litres
