14month Grandaughter coming to stay-toys?

Have my 14 month old grandaughter coming to stay,i will be looking after her without her parents here.She will not have many toys with her.My daughter says she likes saucepans at the moment.Any other ideas for things found in the home to keep her amused. Out of touch with development stages of kids at the moment.

    Pans and wooden spoons, any plastic tubs/cartons, old phones my son loved at that age

    If you have the time and inclination have a look at some charity shops over the weekend? You might find some interesting toys for very little money.

    Both mine loved wooden spoons, pans, and loads of pegs. Spent hours sorting the pegs into different colour piles.

    Boxes, boxes and more boxes, another thing my son used to love playing with/in, suppose anything they can safely build or clamber in to. We had a big plastic box and my son used to have fun for ages getting people to pull him round in it.

    Another option is most areas have a toy library. You could borrow all sorts of toys for the weekend, including outdoor stuff for literally pence.

    My little one is 18 months now but for the past few months she's mainly been into... anything she's not meant to touch!
