Hi guys,
I live in Hull and have just put my house on the market (3 days ago) I have had no calls yet for viewers and realise I am very impatient! Can anyone tell me how long before they had their first viewers?
Thanks :-)

We had our house up for 2 months before we had an interested viewer.
The 2nd viewer was 2 days later and they made an offer and we agreed.
You just cannot tell - keep positive and keep the house tidy just in case.
Good Luck!:kisses:0 -
Thanks. Yes must stay positive! Stress stress stress I will have to learn a bit of patience. I suppose you just need the right person to look at the right time :-)0

Has it appeared on right move.com yet ?0

Yes it went on rightmove on Friday so was hoping to get viewers over the weekend but maybe being a bit optimistic. (Never sold before)0

are you happy with the listing? Through buyer goggles? Would you view it? If not address any shortcomings of the listing early.
How well are the branch staff selling it? Have they seen it?
If there is a lot of similar property, similarly priced, or cheaper, then it is bound to slow down viewings0 -
When I was buying one agent didn't return phone calls when I enquired about a house, so hopefully your agents are doing their job. Many buyers look at new listings on Rightmove, so if yours is a fair price I would have thought you would have a viewer or two. Many people tend to view houses at weekends, so give it a few more days before worrying too much.0

When we put our last house on the market in September last year we had a call from our EA half an hour after leaving their office where we had just instructed them, to say they had someone that wanted to view.
We were quite surprised as - whilst this was a house we had spent a small fortune restoring to a very high standard - it was in an area of rural Wiltshire where mid-range priced properties such as ours were not shifting.
We had five/six viewings within the first five weeks and three offers (one at asking price) at the end of the fifth week.
It's very early days OP - the weather is just starting to improve (hopefully!) which should bring the buyers out....GL with achieving a sale
