what is this bulb?
and why does it have little knobbly bits on the ends , i have never seen that before , its usually just nibs on each enbd to slide into the fitting (outside light)
any ideas!

It looks like a halogen bulb out of floodlight and the ends seem to be damaged.
Like you, I haven't seen the connectors hanging loose. Do they go back into the bulb?0 -

nope , they dont push back into the bulb , but they are `solid`as if they are made that way....if that makes sense , also , there was some white powder in the housing of the light
I dont want to buy a bulb if the light itselfs faulty that was allNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -
The white powder was the cement/insulation that held the terminal ends in.
The 'lamp' needs replacing.
They aren't bulbs -bulbs are planted to create flowers/plants.Unless specifically stated all posts by me are my own considered opinion.

lol, I worked in a lighting shop when I left school and was given a slap every time I said bulb instead of lamp. :-)Unless specifically stated all posts by me are my own considered opinion.
