Dartford Crossing FREE at night

Cameras read your number plate when you cross.
There has been no charge from 10pm -6am to cross the Rver Thames at Dartford
Towed Trailers are now FREE
Although there are no cyclepaths or footpaths in the tunnels or on the bridge so a free shuttle service is available for cyclists and pedestrians to cross the river.
All other vehicles, must pay a toll, except at Night (10pm -6am) when it is now FREE to cross.
Tolls for both directions of travel are no longer paid at the barriers when you use the Dartford Crossing. Instead you'll be able to pay in advance, or up to midnight the day after crossing.
Motorcycles are always free.
Towed Trailers are now FREE
If you breakdown you'll be towed off Free

You'll get a Penalty Charge Notice if you don't pay 6am-10pm
If you live in Grays or Dartford you can apply for a Local resident discount account
