Hi all. Does anyone no if there's a way to get euros in the uk using the Halifax clarity account? Do they offer a online/home delivery service, so I could get the best rates before traveling?
Thanks all

You can get euros from atm in some places but no idea whether that will work or not.
Any reason why you need to get the cash early rather than an ATM in the country - and are rates not decent enough now ordering for collection?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Thanks for the quick reply. My 3 sons are of snowboarding in France next week. The online rates are pretty good but not as good as the MasterCard rates and will need about £1500 worth0

Current best online 1.35 MasterCard is 1.379 so would make about a 45 euro difference0

Possibly the OP is not going to France with his sons, so hoped to give them Euros prior to departure? If this is not the case probably easier to use an ATM on arrival.0 -

Get them prepaid card(s) if you think they are not trustworthy to use your credit card?0

How can I let them use my card? That's illegal0
-
It might be against the T&C, but certainly not "illegal".
Also, you can make one of them an extra cardholder.0 -
If you live in Nuneaton, then I presume they won't be going via London, otherwise the Ulster Bank ATM on Bishopsgate is the only ATM in Great Britain which does what you need.
The alternative is to add one as an extra cardholder, as grumbler said0
