Aqua - missing letter from surname

I applied for an Aqua Reward card (or thought I was) and when I completed the application I realised it had taken me through to the Aqua Start card application. I then went back to the Reward card application and applied through that.

I was apparently accepted for both cards as I have now had two PIN numbers for cards ending in different numbers pop through my letterbox today. Now waiting for the cards to arrive.

Although on the Reward card which I want to keep, I don't really want a Start card with a maximum £300 limit, it looks like I/they have missed out the last letter of my surname.

I am going to contact them and inform them but will this show up as a different surname in my credit report? Both of the last letters of my surname are the same so it may just be obvious this is an error.

I've been spending a lot of time getting my credit file back in order so I don't want to have any anomalies on there.

Also, will it look odd if I cancel the Start card immediately?

It won't be a problem cancelling the cards.

Aqua probably will ask for ID before processing the change on your behalf.

I only want to cancel the Start card, it's a shame it's not the one with the missing letter on the surname...
