That reads to me as though you are being left to care for the animals and xx% of the estate is set aside to assist with that. You only come into the will because you are to be looking after the money.

No money to you for your own ends, also no mention of what should happen if there is money left over when all the pets have died.

I've never seen a will without addresses for everyone, but the main thing is that the individual be personally identifiable. Details can change over time and aren't always updated (either they can't be or the testator simply doesn't do it).

What I'm not clear on is whether this money comes to you (for care of the animals) or would be left in a trust with, usually, the executors as trustees if no others are listed.

It's poorly drafted. It would be more usual to say something like x% to Mrs Joan Bloggs on condition that she cares for any of my pets as shall be living at the time of my death (this would mean that you would get the money whether she had pets or not, but if she had pets you would only get it if you took them on as well)

As it reads, it is for the care of the animals, which could mean you could not use it for any other purpose.

You would not be compelled to accept the gift.
It would not matter if you had changed jobs in the mean time as long as you could still be identified as the person meant.
All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)
