Delayed exchange due to negative equity?

Was meant to exchange and complete Thursday, didn't happen. Then we were going to do it today, also didn't happen.
Everyone on all sides are really angry and frustrated with the sellers bank who is holding up the whole process.
Have had to cancel removals at the last minute and have no internet. Also overstaying my tenancy as the s.21 expired. Stress!!!0 -
Oh no! Is it likely to happen on Monday, do you think? I really hope it goes off ok then0

I don't know when it will happen... The time has gone beyond the 'worst case scenario' I had planned. I'm not holding my breath, infact I'm starting to look at other properties incase it doesn't ever happensingle parent, debt free apart from mortgage!

Update...
End of another week and still no exchange or completion. STILL waiting on the bank (RBS!) of the seller to fix an incorrect line in the mortgage redemption statement. They promised a response by Thursday or Friday at the absolute latest and it DIDN'T HAPPEN.
The seller has agreed to let me rent the property while we are waiting for things to go through. It's not an ideal situation at all and makes me think of all the things that could go wrong with such an arrangement, but i need somewhere to live. From what i can see it seems more risky to the seller than it is to me. I pick up the key tomorrow.
Not sure how i feel at this point, i'm exhausted, stressed out and grumpy constantly, as is my 6 year old. Solicitor on all sides are fuming at the uselessness of RBS to answer even the simplest queries... thank God my mortgage isn't going to be through them..single parent, debt free apart from mortgage!

Good news you can move in regardless! Yes the risk is all on the sellers side so go ahead. Hope it sorts itself out soon0
