Where's my £100 CO-OP??? Mis-sold bank switch!

Having switched to coop bank in November 2014 I still haven't received my "incentive" £100!
I called customer services and they said it would be sorted out in a week. I called after that week and they said two more weeks. Now that time is up today.
I haven't the time to keep chasing them. What's the answer??
If they can't sort out my incentive, can they look after my money ok.....?
Banking ombudsman?

Assuming you have paid in the required £800 within 31 days of the switch date their terms state the payment should be made within 45 days of the switch completion date.
If you meet the terms and they haven't paid within that timeline you should request some form of compensation as they have breached their terms. I know CB/YB have done this around delays/missing paperwork so ask them.0 -
Complain it writing or by e-mail.Having switched to coop bank in November 2014 I still haven't received my "incentive" £100!

Get your £100.
Vote with your feet for another switching bonus.
As simple as that.

in my experience they will, eventually, pay up.. but, though 'nice', their service levels are awful. i grumbled, and voted with my feet.0

"Mis-sold" is easily the most annoying term on the planet right now. It wasn't mis-sold, they are just numpties.
Raise a formal complaint to them in writing. If you have no joy from that, escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service, but you have to complain to the Co-op and give them a chance to respond first.urs sinserly,

err......
yes numpties but I was keeping quiet.....
They paid my incentive mid last year ....then mysteriously on 31st December ANOTHER £100.......
Now I've switched it to Clydesdale .......
I obviously just missed something in the TS and Cs in my favour.....didnt I ?........(!!!!)0 -
When they failed to pay my £100 a few years ago I complained and it was doubled to £200.
They must have learned their lesson (to some degree) because subsequent incentives (a £200 deal and the latest £100 deal) were both paid promptly.
Then again I did fully comply with the T&Cs. We've yet to see if the OP has.0 -
Mine hasn't come in either - I switched on the 15th December. I got told to wait for a while because of Christmas but now I'm thinking a complaint might need to be written now.
ETA - Definitely complied with the T+Cs, I get £1200 into my account every last Thursday of the month and have about five DDs coming out.£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -
But were they switched to the account (at least 2 of them)?kiss_me_now9 wrote: »Mine hasn't come in either - I switched on the 15th December. I got told to wait for a while because of Christmas but now I'm thinking a complaint might need to be written now.

Complaining by email is the easiest way.
I got £150 myself, about 6 months after the account was opened.
It would be helpful to state in your complaint how you have complied with the T&Cs.0 -
Complain, also you need reimbursing for the phone calls and the time you have spent chasing what should be a routine transaction.
Switch elsewhere once you get it, Halfax pays theirs a couple of days after you've switched. :beer:0
