Check your new Virgin Media bills - new billing system mischarged me

My Virgin Media (ex NTL) bill came through this morning and I noticed the monthly charges part was £19 higher than usual.

Having spoken to someone on the billing help desk it appears that my account was transferred on to the new Virgin Media billing system which applied the wrong line rental packages and credits.

If you don't check your paper bill when it arrives it's probably worth doing so to check they've not messed it up. This was my first bill with my new VM account number :)

    They did this to us too and on complaining, we were given 25% discount off our bill (for the fixed costs) for 12 months as a goodwill gesture. ;)
