Good morning All,
I hope everyone is well. Weather here looks much more promising today, there are no gales blowing and no rain, sleet or snow in sight yet.
I cooked double last night so no cooking tonight for me (i really detest cooking). i got my baking done yesterday so most of that is in the freezer. I need to have a rake in the freezer and find something for tomorrows tea.
Got my usual long list of chores for today but DS doesn't leave for work until 5pm so he will pitch in with them.
Hope everyone has a warm, safe and happy day and manages to achieve all their plans.
Regards:j0 -

Morning (((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.
Bright morning, but we have had rain, the slabs on the patio are wet.
Meters read and readings sent to supplier. Not enough laundry in the basket to do a load so it can wait until later in the week.
Need to go and do the monday clean, have one of the quilting ladies from my group coming to look at my machine, she is thinking of buying one.0 -
Morning
I've just got back from my dog walking ,it started to hail/sleet again while I was out, already had some but its so windy it was really stinging my face.No one else was out for her to play with so she got short rations I'm afraid.
TA hope you get away andhave a lovely time.
I feel a bit ropey with my tum too dumpling.Didnt have any tea yesterday, had a bath and went to bed.Bit better today though. All the tribe here tonight, and I need to pick DGD up from playgroup this afternoon, her other Nanna usually does on a Monday but she cant drive after a minor op last week.
I have a charity bag to fill for tomorrow ,and I want to get the tea prepped as its usually chaos when everone is here-quite often a one pot meal on a Monday!I have a good bit of gammon left from last night so some kind of ham bake I think.
The hound had been sick on the carpet yesterday morning when we got down and she'd had some of DH takeaway curry the night before so its stained .If I cant get it out the landlord will keep our deposit when we leave hopefully in a couple of months. Its horrible anyway but if she'd just managed it 6" to either side it wouldnt have shown, its a kind of pattern of rectangles in different shades and its on the lightest one
.I've googled and a lot of sites mention ammonia but I havent got any and dont know where I'd get it round here.
Ah well time for another cuppa, hope you all have a good day x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -

Morning all,
had a lie in this morning. Hubby left the house for work at 5. Youngest trotted off at 6. Both of them are shattered. Driving 800 miles a week as well as doing a full shift at work is killing him. Youngest spent the weekend with the girlfriend. 3 hour train rides there and 3 hours back. I'm surprised either of them got up for work this morning.
Can I just ask if anyone gets any random friends requests on Facebook that appear to have only come from me please can you let me know. Seems like my sons ex has requested friendship from an O'Styler. I really don't want her to follow me over here. I really do wish I'd kept my identities separate.
Lots to do in the house today. I'd best get started.
Onwards and forwards,

Morning all,
Just a quick rush in to say 'Hi'. Been a busy weekend. Where does the time go?!
Off to work again in a few minutes, been for a very bracing but warm walk with friend down by the River/Estuary.
Time to go again...0 -
Afternoon all,
Very cold here today, instead of turning timer to timed OH turned to off yesterday , so o heat on this morning....an old house cools very quickly so only coming back to a comfortable heat now! No walk today, am too cold.
Neighbour called in earlier with some birthday cake.....his wife was 70 yesterday, had always thought her younger than me. They are very good neighbours who are always there if we need them.
Had a call from my oldest friend and a nice chat, we rarely meet these days even though we live less than 30 mins apart...our mothers were friends and her nephews are friends with my sons and nephews.... good to see the friendship carrying on through the generations.
Lamb chops with turnip and potatoes for dinner, looking forward to it, will have birthday cake for pudding.
Judi....dont think we are friends onfacebook?
Ruby....not surprised you are in bits after all those dogs..
Csarina.....good to see you in good form.
Have a good afternoon all

No I don't believe we are. I think ive got 8 O/Stylers as friends and a 'usedtobe' who my sons ex has added also.Judi....dont think we are friends onfacebook?
Another one of my O/Styler friends received a friends request from her and notified me today.
She and my son are not on good terms so I prefer to keep a friendly distance. I certainly don't want her following me over here.
If you (or anyone) wishes to add me. Feel free.
Sounds a bit cloak and dagger really but its not. :rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
