Eon submit meter readings problem
I switched to Eon in December. Had a few problems with entering my opening meter readings but eventually sorted out, and had my first bill in February.
Tried to input my readings just now and the elec was fine but the gas had blank boxes for the 'previous meter reading'. Input todays figures and it said ' thanks for submitting your opening meter readings, we will be in touch with your old supplier' .
Also, DD should come out on 28th of the month according to their website and previous DDs, but nothing has been taken from my account. Wondered if it is because it is the weekend?
Anyone else having problems?

I believe E.ON were having issues with the opening meter reads. There is a phone number of a special team dealing with them, posted by the E.ON company rep. I can't copy and paste from my phone, sorry!
Your DD will come out tomorrow (2nd) if you set up for the 28th, because as you correctly state the 28th Feb was during the weekend!0 -

Thanks lvf, I agree, we did have some issues with opening meter reads so if you give us a quick ring then we can pop them on for you and make sure you're up to date ones are entered as well.
The Direct Debit should be coming out today, but you can double check via your online account.

Thanks Helena.Have just rung and given the readings. My account is still showing no previous readings for gas, although the bill shows actual comsumption based on meter readings.
There was a problem entering my opening gas reading, along with lots of other people, but that was sorted in December. Seems the glitch has come back?0 -

You've done the best thing as we'll have your meter reads on the account, so if they can't be shown on your online account as yet, we still have them.
Some accounts will still be affected, we have people working on it.

I entered my first meter readings,a few weeks ago, yet when u look in the meter reading history it doesn't even show them, I have since rung to confirm if they have them to which they said yes,
shouldn't have to ring and confirm, you should sort the issue out if anything goes wrong we have no fall back on what readings were given , previous supplier had no issues with meter readings being shown, don't see why EON should be any different!0
