CEA card

I have a question regarding the CEA card that allows a disabled person to obtain a free ticket for a carer to cinema screenings.

If the CEA card holder purchased a pre paid monthly pass, would they still be able to be accompanied by a carer?

I have looked at the CEA site, and Cineworld and can't find any relevant information.

Just wondering if anyone on here who has a CEA card has looked into this?

Many thanks!

Can't see why not as if you are a CEA card holder you still need the carer to assist you. Not got a pre paid myself, but have used Tesco Clubcard sourced Odeon tickets (paid in clubcard points on internet which converts to Odeon ticket) & still been ok to take in a carer for free as got CEA card.

I've not had a cineworld card for a while, but when I did I had no issues using the CEA card with it.

Thanks so much for your replies, it's looking like they can be used together, which is great :)

My husband has a cineworld unlimited card and a cea card. He can use both together to take us to the cinema (the unlimited card was the best birthday present I have bought him).

You can also book up to two films online in advance and use the cea card together with the cineworld card to book your tickets online. No online ticketing fee when doing so and you're guaranteed to get in to the film you want to watch.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks, that's great to know. My question has been answered so thanks for that. Think I'll be getting an unlimited card!
  • Hi

I believe it depends on the cinema and their policy as it does for all cinemas which accept the CEA Card, but often like cineworld.

From their website: cineworld.co.uk/accessibility - looks like they accept them at all cinemas.

    Regards
