Yes fortunately for the cats my vacuum cleaner stays asleep most of the time. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
I'm an idiot. I've been feeding them Smilla and they have both been fine on it. This week I gave them Bozita because I thought it would be better for them and it has upset Mia's stomach quite badly. She is using the litter tray bless her but miaowing. I think she has tummyache, and she has diarrhea. This evening I have given them the Royal Canin digestive dry food and lots of water in the hope it will settle Mia's stomach. Tomorrow they are going back on Smilla. Oh why did I change it? I offered Poppy some Smilla this evening but she wasn't interested and they both seem a bit sleepy.
Yesterday - chilling out together.
Tonight - Poppy looking after poorly MiaThe forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
I tried Bozita before, but my cat turned her nose up at it. I seem to remember thinking it was quite rich (and smelly!). I'd leave things a while so her tummy settles again, then try tiny portions of different food if you want to change to something else. It's always annoying when you buy new food and it gets wasted. Try writing letters/emails to cat food companies asking for samples of food to try - including an adorable picture always goes down well too!

Thank you. I'll have a look at that although I did order some more Smilla last night.
When Mia came to us she left a sister behind. They used to be called the twins as they looked the same and were always together. So she really pined for her sister as well as her mum. For the first week she kept catching sight of herself in the bedroom mirror and crying, thinking it was her sister. Now though it seems as if Poppy has taken her place.
Today Poppy had to go for her injection and Mia went wild when I put her in the pet carrier. When I took her out of the kitchen in it she was leaping at it and trying to stop me. I had to shut her in the kitchen. As I drove to the vets I was wondering if she thought I was taking her away too.
It was really strange. When I brought Poppy back Mia was in the hammock in the cat tree looking really dejected. However, when I let Poppy out she jumped down and put her paws around her. She seemed really relieved to see her, that's exactly how it was.

Oh my gosh they are so beautiful! You take wonderful photos, what camera are you using? My iPhone photos are rubbish in comparison!
If anything was likely to make me believe in a Creator it would probably be a tabby cat. Mine was also called Mia, she was born on my 21st birthday, in 1977, came to me at 7 weeks old and was my princess until 7 weeks before her own 21st.

Thank you. Its a Fujifilm Finepix camera. I'm not good with phones and find the camera easier to upload onto my computer. My hubby takes some of the photos, he took the last one.
Its so nice having cats but so sad when you lose them. Mine are two pampered princesses. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -

We mustn't have that must we.
Poppy and Mia 'helping me' (not) with the washing up.
Poppy looking innocent after Mia pulled the tablecloth off the table.
They really are becoming very naughty. I can't do any washing up without an audience of two on the edge of the sink. I'm too soft though and don't speak harshly to them. Mia always looks the picture of innocence but she is full of mischief. She uses me as a climbing frame and ends up on my shoulder purring loudly. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
