    I was going to make a post about this too. Glad I read this one. I opened my account on 9th with £1000 and added £500 on 26th. I wonder how much interest I will get tomorrow.

    Each day you earn at:

    Closing balance x 4.89% / 365

    If you're a tax payer multiply the total by 0.8

    That's not maths, that's arithmetic, and any calculator will help you find the answer. Every version of Windows comes with a calculator. I would be most surprised if any modern computer doesn't.

    If you're a tax payer multiply the total by 0.8




    Why not just wait til tomorrow :)



    edit - mine came through Monday 02/03 and was £6.00 net.

    £2.63 it was. So I will put another amount in at end of this month to make it £2000 and I'm ready.
