Is this a joke? Please forgive me if I didn't find it funny, and for taking this as your real position on this topic.

No it's not a joke, but perhaps it needs a bit a thinking to understand.

How can there be a more "net contributor" that someone who sends money over without even coming to live here?

I also always enjoy Australia being mentioned in relation to immigration because they have much, much more immigration than we do.

How does the Inland revenue benefit unless these non-residents are actually paying tax?

P.S. The Inland Revenue was replaced by HMRC in 2005. Only ten years behind the times I see.:)

    Ever heard of stamp duty?;)
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

Why, yes as it happens. :)

Although I presume the reference is to Stamp Duty Land Tax.

My historical posts prove I'm far from racist

Your hysteri.....oops, historical posts prove nothing.

This is an internet forum. You can post anything you like, none of it is likely to be true.

I guarantee that House prices will increase in March
I guarantee that House prices will decrease in March
I guarantee that House prices will stay the same in March

... I reckon that some of the above is likely to be true.

You are darned right there. No one can out-pedant me!:rotfl:

And I'm prepared to take on the monkey (who ever they are) in the play-offs if the opportunity arises.

This thread is so close to being only based on racism that I'm surprised it hasn't been locked yet.

It's a vile thread, OP is blaming foreigners for his own housing problems.

I leave play-offs to those second division who wish to be promoted having finished 3rd.

The Monkey only operates at the very top of the first division.

I'm premier league me. Don't know that I'd take much notice of someone who was two leagues down in the first division.:)
