Some advise please... Feeling confused

Hi all, this is my first ever post so hope Im putting it in the right place.

I've buried my head to some horrific debts for the past 4 or more years after moving home and receiving no letters. Now it's time to sort them. Have been trying to confirm everything I owe but it's a minefield. Did the searches on the main 3 credit companies and not 100% sure what next. Specifically -

I have a CCJ which is due to drop off next month and shows us not being settled. Im 99% sure this is cleared through a wages arrestment which finished in 2011. What should my next move be on this?

I've a couple of old debt letters for current defaults on my reports, should I call the companies and see what they are saying?

I've a couple of old debt letters for accounts that show as closed which are still in default, what to do about those?

I've a few letters for debts which don't show on any, again where should I go with these?

I think my only real option will be a trust deed as the amount in total is pretty big. I've no real potential at the moment for credit anyway as my home was repossessed but feel I need to tackle this. Most of the debts are joint and due to my ex's bad spending and leaving jobs. Sickening thing is they won't pursue him as he doesn't work. So I'll be left to clear up this mess too.

Thank you all in advance :)

Sorry for all the questions but I am hoping for some guidance from you lovely people.

Re the ccj maybe send a letter to who the debt was owed too. Im not 100% sure but if the ccj is due to drop off soon does it matter if its still shown as not settled ?

Re the letters for defaults on your credit report, yes contact them and ask if there's a settlement figure or ask about setting up a payment plan.

Re the letters for debts not showing on your credit reports, well 2 options, you can write to them wanting yo setup a payment or ignore them, how old are they ?

If you were to start repay them now they will fall off in march 2021.

Apologises for any bad spelling, its early Sunday morning and am tired.

Those more experienced will reply and maybe give other options.
