The best price I've found using Google was for £77.90 at Moonbox Software.

I've never used them so can't personally vouch for them but they obtain the license key from Microsoft.

You'd then have to do the following:

    1) Once you have placed your order and received your product key card in the post, locate your product key on the rear of the included card (from an email in Moonbox' case).
    2) When you locate the product key, follow the instructions on the card, and go to https://officesetup.getmicrosoftkey.com/ to download and install.
    3) Enter your 25-digital product key as prompted.
    4) Sign in or create a Microsoft account.
    5) Select your preferred country and language.
    6) From your "My Account" page with Microsoft, select the item that you want to install.
    7) Click the "Install" button to begin your download.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

Do you or any of your family work for a large business in the UK?
If so, have a word with someone from the IT department and ask if the company has signed up for the Microsoft home user program.

If they have, you can get office professional plus for £9.95

Just use Libre Office instead. It is free and can open and save well to MS office formats of Word and Excel.

    £68.34 here:

though it looks like there may also be a £5.95 delivery charge too.

Not a company I've ever used though.

Another option would be to purchase the cheapest Windows 8.1 tablet you can find which has a year's free subscription to Office 365. This will allow you to download Office software to your PC.

    Probably cost you between £60-£80.

The downside is that it only gives you 1-year's access to the software you are looking for but you do get a "free" tablet.

What about MS office on-line, it's free.

Which version? The full one, or the Home and Student version without Outlook?
But, unless you need Outlook, I'd second Libre Office.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Since MS stopped the student discount S4S is no cheaper than the likes of Ebuyer these days (only checked Office products) and for some products more expensive by a few pounds

I saw this, any good?Buy Microsoft Office Standard 2013 Key

Cheap Microsoft Office Standard 2013 key is largely on sale in Go2Keys shop. With genuine Microsoft Office Standard 2013 key, you'll access the Office 2010 easily and smoothly. Buy Microsoft Office Standard 2013 key will be the best choice to use it at the cheapest, soonest and easiest manner. Also can anybody tell me regarding subscription what happens if you do not renew does that means your current office will stop working or is it updates you will not receive. I have got office 2007 and I do have to buy subscription every year. Thanks
