Google to penalize "non-mobile friendly" biz sites

If you run a website for your business it seems that Google is soon to start penalizing you in the search results for a lack of "mobile friendliness".. Thought I would give everyone a heads up:

The Google Mobile Friendly test link has stopped working for one of my URLs = https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/

I use Google Webmaster Tools > Other Resources > Page Speed Insights as well.

    Another useful website is http://www.seocentro.com/tools/search-engines/metatag-analyzer.html
I use this one for the "meta tags analysis" section and the "your site displayed on a search engine page" section.
Both have been useful to me as I didn't realise that some parts of my website were coming up with "no title" as the title on search engine links.

Thanks. I didn't know about this tool, but it will come in handy for future reference

Just thought I would update everyone, Google is updating their search engine come April 21st to factor in whether websites are mobile friendly or not. Essentially if your site doesn't fit their criteria for mobile friendliness you will be pushed down the search results...

I've already started the process of getting across all this in time.... currently awaiting a new mobile friendly theme for one awkward site I've got, which I expect to work on next week. The rest are easier and I mobile-enabled those last year.

People need to read up about the different mobile ad slots rules, you're only allowed one, not the three you could have on a regular page. I spent earlier this evening mobile ad-ing stuff.

I only have one google ad on each page anyway so I'm fine there :) I use the responsive ads which change themselves to fit the users browser. They didn't work on the new gallery software so I went for the 300x50 one which google recommended for mobile users

Website forum is already mobile friendly which is good.

As a result of this topic, I realised that the photo gallery software I was using was not mobile friendly and their themes wouldn't work so I went hunting and found a software that was mobile friendly. The only downside is sorting out 1500 photo links and descriptions.
