low credit score - paid off balance on catalogue account question

My credit score and eating is low, I need it improved. I have just paid off my balance on my littlewoods catalogue account. Will it help my credit score to leave the account open, with a zero balance? Or is it better to close the account? Or will neither help? Thanks

Your credit files will improve, it just takes time, that's all (please ignore any scores as any potential lenders will not see these).
Is your Littlewoods catalogue account the only line of credit you have? What's the limit and how long have you had it open for? It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
