Ok so I have read MSE guide but still not very sure whether we'd eligible for a refund. Be nice please as I don't know much about this stuff!
We found a letter recently from 2012 giving information about PPi Annual Review. We have policy number. It says Optional PPI Review.
Covers accident & sickness and unemployment.
During this time, policy owner was employed.
It is from Cardif Pinnacle.
My understand is as it states "optional", it wouldn't be eligible for a refund - is that correct?
If not, how do we go about finding out more ?

It is not a case of eligibility for a refund. There is nothing actually wrong with having PPI. The whole issue is whether it was mis-sold or unsuitable.

I'm aware. We are not sure about any wrongdoing. I doubt if we go and ask them they will say yes. Thanks for your reply!ally.0 -

They are required to look at all aspects of the sale if you make a complaint. Millions have been paid out to people for reasons that have not be raised in the complaint. We are not sure about any wrongdoing.
If there is nothing wrong then why worry about this? If you think there is something wrong then state what it is and they will look at it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
