Ordered something a few days ago, it was due to arrive Thursday, I was awake early and made sure front door to my block was unlocked(and postman arrived no problem as did DPD couriers) no card through door and for some reason instead of taking it back to depot they left it at a post office a mile away(instead of one 2 minutes walk from my house)

Today waiting for another item, same problem NO delivery attempt, and tracking number lies and says "advised to collect" and again no card.

I know they have a repuation but quite annoyed, I guess theres nothing I can do.

A mile is only 10 minute's walk each way - our local depot is 12 miles away, and they always take them back there.
It could be worse!

10 minutes! You must be a fast walker I do it in 15-20 minutes and people even then tell me to slow down

The depot is about 18 miles away they decided to take it to a local post office and id rather it be at depot so they can redeliver.

A steady paced walk for a fit adult about is 3-4 mph, so 20-15 minutes for a mile.

(I walk at about 4 mph. Unless I'm with the missus then it is nearer 2 mph at best, worse if we are shopping).
