Best car insurance deals?

Hi Folks

My car insurance is about to expire and was just wondering how to get the best car insurance quote.

I traditionally use websites such as gocompare, confused, uswitch etc. However, a few people have suggested that this may not always get you the best deal.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

To get the best quote you want full no claims, The right car and live in the right area.

Shopping around and asking every single insurer and broker is the way to get the best deal.

Move to a lower risk area, Buy a less risky car.

Its a fully rated product so "best deals" only exist if you happen to basically a clone of the person that reports a good price

If you are an inexperienced driver it can be a good idea to add an experienced driver to your policy.
This usually brings your insurance down a little bit.
I am named on all my children's policies as an occasional driver.
