Adults only hotel recommendations in Europe for young couple

Okay.. early 30's maybe not young anymore (you are as old as you feel in my view) :j

I am looking for a summer holiday (mid June) with my girlfriend that is a 'Adults Only' hotel as a young couple we prefer to not have kids around (just my preference). We went to the Gran Canaria Princess hotel in Gran Canaria last year and it was fantastic!

I'd love to find a similar hotel to this anywhere in Europe that is relatively close to the beach and to shops/bars/restaurants. I am not a fan of the large resorts that are placed in the middle of nowhere.

My budget is flexible however ideally want to spend around the same price as last year (this cost me £450 per person) obviously i'd be happy to pay more (probably a max of £600-650 per person).

Can anyone recommend anywhere? As long as it has places close by that we can venture to i'll be happy as I don't like to sit in the hotel all day and all night.

We stayed at the Sol Beach House Cala Blanca in Palma Nova in October and found it to be great. It's adults only, but it's right on the beach and has fantastic sea views. (I'd suggest booking a sea view room to get the view, however the sun goes over the hotel and from mid afternoon sea view balconies don't have the sun so might be a consideration).

The hotel is quite modern and trendy, and had a really nice bar and restaurant too. Some rooms were due a refurb over the winter I believe but we had a newly refurbished room which was lovely.

Location is great with a ton of bars and restaurants on your doorstep and loads of shops. It was easy to get to other resorts too such as Santa Ponsa and Portals Nous and Palma is just a short distance on the bus too.

We stayed half board, breakfast was great but the evening meals did get a bit repetitive. In fairness we stayed the last week of the season and by the last night there was only about 15 people in the hotel so the food and atmosphere will be slightly different in June but I would say probably for the better.
