Should I interfere?

Hi guys,
Following a renegotiation of price in the week we had to change what mortgage product we were going for with Natwest. Our broker said we should get confirmation of the offer early next week, no worries.
I called Natwest a few minutes ago just to check it was all still on track, and they said they are missing the Product Code and the broker will need to provide it before they can proceed, and they said they would try calling the broker on Monday "hopefully" or I could ask him to call them. I pinged off a quick email to him just now to ask him to call them Monday morning and apologised for disturbing him on a saturday.
Anyway, being a curious fellow I couldn't help wondering if I could get the code, so I looked on Natwest's spreadsheet of products for Intermediaries and found what looked like our new product. Then I looked at the Illustration our broker sent us a couple of days ago and there in black and white is the exact same product code! So now I'm pretty certain I've found it, my question is what do I do? Should I call Natwest and tell them? Or should I do nothing and wait for our broker to do it Monday morning? I don't want to mess it up and I don't want to put any noses out of joint, but at the same time I want to get this nailed down, with one thing and another our application has been dragging on over 2 weeks now!
Thanks for any opinions or thoughts on what you would do if you were me

Most stuff like that we have to fax, not call through.
If the broker faxed it on Friday, it won't be scanned and added to the case until Monday.
If you've asked your broker to do it, trust him/her to to do, or to have already done it.I am a mortgage broker. It was all sent on Wednesday, so would have thought it would have been done by now. Also the bloke at Natwest knew all the other details of our new product (new LTV, new interest rate) he just said the code was missing. Happy to trust the broker, in fact I do trust him very much, but I just thought if I could help to speed up the process I would.0

I'd think it unlikely that info you provide today would speed things up faster than if it was supplied first thing Monday. I'd phone the broker as soon as they are open Monday morning and check that they have received the request and are actioning it.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0

Thanks redpete, I think you are right, it's just the waiting is killing me, everything takes such a long time! Maybe I should just go on holiday for a week or two until it's all over! Lol. I've emailed the broker and will follow up with a phonecall on Monday.
Thanks.0 -

Why bother sending an email?0 -
Leave it to your broker or you will make a mess of everything.
If you want things to run smoothly you should not even be contacting the lender yourself.I am a Mortgage Broker

Most brokers would have access to emails 24/7. I answer mine regardless of time or day.
If nothing else it will give a reminder and show a record of having chased it up.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thank you. I was always told when doing official "stuff" it's always good to have something in writing. I'm going to leave it, going out for a walk to try to distract myself. I wondered if perhaps the broker had done this on purpose as Natwest changed their rates again on Friday and our product now has a new code with a lower interest rate - I thought maybe the broker might have known this was coming and held off giving the code so we could get a better rate of interest?0 -
another good reason for you to leave it to the Professional.I am a Mortgage Broker

I was referring to the fact that the OP was intending to ring anyway.
Operating on a 24/7 basis doesn't improve productivity nor make things happen any quicker. I'm old school and prefer a clear division between business and personal.
My reaction to people who ring shortly after sending an email, is to say no. If you weren't ringing me then I would have time to read and answer them.0
