Terms and Conditions

1. This prize draw is open to all residents of the UK over the age of 18 except employees of Royal Mail Group Ltd, their families,
their agents or anyone professionally connected with this prize draw.
2. To enter the prize draw you must complete the mandatory fields on the entry form at www.parcelforce.com/win.
3. Incomplete, illegible, damaged, defaced or incorrectly
completed entry forms will not be accepted.

4. The full prize draw will open at 12.00am on 1st April 2014
and will close at 11.59 pm on 31 March 2015.

5. Entries must be registered by 11.59pm on the relevant closing date shown above to be included in that month’s prize draw.
6. Only one entry per person per prize draw will be accepted.
7. The winner: There will be one winner each month,
who will be chosen at random from all valid entries.
The winner will win one prize.
8. The winner of each month’s prize draw will be chosen on
the following dates:

Draw 11 – 9 March 2015
Draw 12 – 8 April 2015

9. Each draw will be carried out by an independent person.
10. The Prizes: There are twelve prizes to be won.
Each prize consists of a £250 One4all gift card.

11. The winner of each prize draw will be notified within 14 days
after the draw date by phone, letter or email.

12. The winner will have 5 days within which to confirm
acceptance of the prize,
otherwise a different winner will be chosen from the remaining valid entries.

13. The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize
of the same or higher value where it becomes necessary to do so.

14. The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative available.
15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed or not received for any reason.

16. The names and counties of the winners can be obtained after each draw by sending a self addressed, stamped envelope marked
"Post Office Prize Draw – Request for winner's details" to Parcelforce Worldwide, Lytham House, Caldecotte Lake Drive, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes MK7 8LE.
The dates after which this information will be available for each draw are as follows:

Draw 1 – 21 May 2014
Draw 2 – 21 June 2014
Draw 3 – 22 July 2014
Draw 4 – 21 August 2014
Draw 5 – 23 September 2014
Draw 6 – 21 October 2014
Draw 7 – 21 November 2014
Draw 8 – 23 December 2014
Draw 9 – 21 January 2015
Draw 10 – 21 February 2015
Draw 11 – 21 March 2015
Draw 12 – 21 April 2015

17. Entrance into the prize draw is deemed acceptance of these terms
and conditions.

18. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw
is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the prize draw, where it becomes necessary to do so.
20. Unless further consents are obtained, personal details obtained in the process of the prize draw will be used for the purposes of administering the prize draw only and destroyed thereafter.

I have man-flu so I'm not really with it but, in general, yes I do think people should hold off on posting comps until they are open, esp the monthly ones like this.
The only ones worth posting early are ones like tomorrow's hourly Times comp.

Considering I had 8 typos in this, you can see why I entered early... *crawls back to bed*

Thank you for posting FF! I agree with you, lots of comps get posted on here before the opening date by people who maybe have commitments so cannot post it on the day or they don't want to forget etc. I just subscribe to those posts so I will be notified by email when someone bumps to say 'now open'

hi, maybe we should have a poll on peeps posting comps
before they are open &/or posting pages for comps
not open yet,
there are loads of them posted just lately,

it would save a lot of bookmarking/subscribing to
threads if there was a general rule comps aren't
posted until the opening date

Good idea FF. You are right, lots get posted before the start date eg The Times and Glamour comps were both posted today and they don't start until tomorrow - I don't mind though as I just subscribe to them by email but maybe it should go to public vote?

I agree it would save a lot of subscribing/bookmarking etc
if comps weren't posted before the opening date but
as you say if we have commitments/want to get the comp up for others in case of whatever it's just as easy to subscribe to them
& wait for notification.

Well I am happy as it is - I think the people who post comps up early usually always state 'not open until xx/xx' anyway to make people aware.

Maybe hannonle can start a poll if they think it is necessary.

hi, it would be a great idea if someone could start a poll/
ask in Compers Chat Corner,
at least that way we would get a rough idea if peeps were for/against/not bothered either way/
if they were/weren't etc,
I would start one if I knew how to :eek:
