TSB Cash Account and PayPal withdrawals

I've just read about TSB blocking an account due to PayPal payments.
My account is reasonably new (about a month and a half old) and I have a reasonable sum pending in my PayPal (new PayPal account and new EBay account so payments are being held for x amount of time) due to five sales I've made. Now I'm worried the account will be blocked when I try to withdraw these funds. It's a big amount of money to me- ninety five pounds- which I will want to withdraw immediately to put into another account as its to pay for something later this month and I don't want the temptation of it sitting in an account I have ready access to so I want to put it in an account which I don't have ready access to.
The account has had 'normal' payments in- two of them, my ESA payments- and one cash payment on initial opening of a hundred pounds which was the balance of the account at another bank that I closed in favour of this. Is this going to cause alarm bells to ring? Am a bit worried they may see the PayPal withdrawals as suspicious (I have proof of sales on my EBay app but that's the only proof I have) I'm new to all this business so a bit worried about it.
Thanks :)

TSB wont block your account for getting paypal payments. Although if you didn't or haven't verified your paypal account they may limit you until you provide information to prove your ID etc.

Although if job centre plus ask you for a benefit review and they see your selling alot i.e. the funds from paypal they might decide your not declaring other income and may say your being overpaid.

Thanks :) PayPal account is verified. And I'm on contributions based ESA in the support group so not affected by income. This is a one off- I'm purely flogging my old gear. I've sold some (not exactly designer but a fairly expensive high street brand) tracksuits that don't fit and last year's ball dress which I've only worn for a few hours and was gathering dust. Not a regular thing and not a business seller. :)

Oh well then, Nothing to worry about. Do you send all your items using tracked service on paypal. * i would :D * that way it releases funds quicker.... And stops for people saying they didn't get items etc.

Yep- all tracked and tracking numbers uploaded :) my funds are due for release soon. Have already had good feedback on my tracksuits which is good. I used to sell a few years back but shut my account as I got fed up with the whole EBay experience and I always sent recorded. :)

  • I assume you were reading the other thread on this page about someone's mother in laws account?
Yours is a totally different situation, they put the proceeds of a house sale into a brand new account!

Your account won't get blocked because of one £95 deposit from Paypal.
