With Skipton what happens if they need more docs for whatever reason?

we are currently applying for a mortgage through skipton.
or timeline is below.
spoken to the valuation company this morning who said they have sent the valuation through to skipton, however when we rang skipton they stated they nothing been update on our files as of yet but should be by this afternoon.
does any one know if they will tell us what the house was valued at??

we got a home buyers report done but for our sake.
skipton have received the valuation this morning... will they inform us of the outcome?0 -

Well following the valuation they wanted a wall tie survey - the report was submitted to them on 31st March... they've been twiddling their thumbs since then.0

Some things are dealt with only by the lender, some by others.
A report requested by the surveyor has to go to the surveyor for assessment.
So the surveyor has to receive the additional report and find the time to assess it and feed back the result to the lender along with carrying out the new valuations the lender has instructed.
As a consequence, it takes longer.
Even allowing for Easter, it should have been assessed and reported back by now.I am a mortgage broker.
