myhermes parcel has dissapeared into thin air!

I returned a parcel from Feel Unique last Friday , I printed off the label and a courier picked it up, but it has either got lost or stolen and I've gone onto Myhermes website and there is no record of the collection and Feel Unique have not received it. He didn't give me a slip and I must have deleted the email by accident and the item has disappeared! It must've been stolen , but It is not showing at all on the website. Has this ever happened to any of you? I wouldn't mind of it was cheap, but it was £100 quid.

You will need the slip to prove that you dropped it off & to submit a claim.
As it was a week ago, its not likely that they've just not collected it & the website should show the drop off scan

This is what has worried me in the past with Myhermes collections. I have never been given a receipt. I've changed to taking them to my local pick up point where they scan it and give you receipt with drop off time. This can still take up to 24hrs before it starts tracking though.

I do the same as Jeffuk. I want a receipt for everything I return as I don't trust them one bit.

I know I don't trust it either, but Feel Unique only uses them, so I had to use it to return them. What is strange is that it isn't showing on my Hermes account that I returned it, I think I have to say goodbye to 100 quid.

The exact same thing has happened to me. I logged into myhermes as normal using the link from Feel Unique. I printed the label and the courier came to collect. now the label and any proof of collection has disappeared of the face of the earth!!! Feel Unique say they cant trace the parcel without the info from Myhermes, but my Myhermes account says absolutely nothing. And i cant prove a thing! ..a warning to other people returning things via myhermes, make sure you get some kind of hard proof and dont rely on logging into your myhermes account as things just magically disappear!!
